What is a kids shopping trip?

Some of you may remember from last year, my family and I sponsor the “Christian Care Agency of Phoenix” every year for Christmas. Normally I’m sending out this email trying to get people to sponsor a foster child. Sponsoring a child would allow them to buy gifts for their entire family to have a real Christmas opening presents instead of a Grinch Christmas and an empty Christmas tree. This year I’m happy to say we going to sponsor 50 kids! Yes, that’s over 2 times the kids we brought last year. We are truly blessed. That being said, we did not expect this and now we are looking for volunteers to help the kids shop for their toys. Each person is paired up with one child, and you are simply responsible to make sure your child stays within the gift budget they are allowed. We also give them bags of toys and bibles, as well as the family receiving a $100 food card so they can buy an awesome Christmas meal.

This shopping trip will change your life. It’s incredible what these kids go through and most of them manage to have an outstanding attitude towards life. If you’re interested in helping or sponsoring a family food card ($25, $50, or $100) please let me know.
